It’s not easy to find a very good lily-of-the-valley perfume. I’ve only found three that I like - Guerlain Muguet, Synthetic Jungle, and this, BAD LILY. Dior Lucky Esprit de Parfum is also very good, but the aldehydes are too harsh for me. BAD LILY is beautiful, full stop. It has a well-rounded lily-of-the-valley scent that is not overwhelming, along with some green notes, creaminess, sweetness, and a slightly earthy facet. I also get musk and lightness in the dry down. It fits the vibe of an evening walk around the neighbourhood and getting ice cream at a corner shop. It is awesome and delicious, and it scratches my lily-of-the-valley itch.

The first thing that drew me to this fragrance was the lily of the valley (fond childhood memories) but it is so much more than that! I get compliments every time I wear it ! Nothing else captures the floral notes like this fragrance!

Bad Lily was a total blind buy for me… I’m the editor of a soon-to-be-live fragrance editorial site, and I was looking for newer fragrances to review for launch, and I randomly found Tale Parfums on IG and was impressed that Bad Lily is a finalist for the Golden Pear Awards so I grabbed a bottle.
First, I cannot say enough good about the fact that they send a sample with your purchase so you can smell the fragrance before opening the box. But I needn’t have been cautious — Bad Lily knocked my socks off and I’m already raving about it in every fragrance circle I’m in.
It’s a dirty white floral without being indolic — think: an incredibly realistic, verdant bloom, at once insidious and delicate, serrated and sensual. The perfumer here is a genius to able to capture the scent of violet and datura so accurately and blend it into an intensely wearable musk. The performance is also exceptional. In one fell swoop, Tale has won me over.

This is such a pure, beautiful, and sexy night blooming flower. Love and will likely repurchase and upgrade to the full bottle!

It's refreshing and light, like nothing else I have in my collection. Smells great and is the perfect springtime scent.

Every night I come home and immediately light my Boxwood Maze Tale candle. The smell is so unique and soothing, I can't get enough of it. I need to buy a few more already so I have backups for when it's gone. I love the black exterior too. No need to think twice, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it!!!!!

I found the "Boxwood Maze" candle to have the scent of my mother's boxwood shrubs - an outdoorsy, wood-like smell.
With both the "Mirror, Mirror" and "Water Me" candles, I found the scents to be light, clean, and inviting.
